If you havent already notice, I am 100% completely in love with Nirvana. Nirvana are the greatest band in the history of everything ever. Now, before you start sending me emails about how much Nirvana suck and how much better brittney is, please stop and take time to remember that this is JUST MY OPPINION. I dont expect you to have the same oppinion, and I couldnt care less if you do or you dont. In MY OPPINION Nirvana are the greatest band in the history of everything ever.
TRIVIA
There have been 2 other bands called Nirvana, one was a group from the early sixties who had one minor hit, and the other is a Christian band from the early 80's who tried to sue them.
Courtney was married in an old dress of Frances Farmer's
Frances was not named after Frances Farmer, but after a member of the Vaselines. Kurt says he'd wished he'd thought of naming her after Farmer.
Frances's middle name comes from the shape she appeared in a sonogram (bean).
Stay Away was originally called 'Pay To Play' and was recorded at that. A last minute change of taste caused the change.
In Utero went through 2 name changes. It was originally to be called 'I hate myself and want to die' and then later 'Verse-Chorus-Verse'. Both of these are songs from the In Utero sessions.

Kurts career as a musician didnt start with Nirvana. Like all other artists he had a billion and one bands that sucked monkey balls before he finally did something right and started Nirvana. The first band he was in was Fecal Matter, with Kurt Cobain on guitar and vocals, Dale Crover on bass guitar, Greg Hokanson on drums and at one point in time Mike Dillard on drums. After that, came Brown Cow with Buzz Osbourne on bass guitar, Dale Crover on drums and Kurt Cobain on guitar and vocals. The next band was Stiff Woodies, Kirst on vocals, Kurt on drums and a variety of people on bass and guitar. Kirst and Kurt hit it off from the start. It was obvious to everyone that they were meant to be in a band together. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) the Stiff Woodies never made it big, and the next band to follow was Skid Row, with Kurt on guitar, Kirst on bass guitar and Aaron Burckhard on drums. <b>Finally</b> that band broke up and Nirvana was formed. Since then Nirvana has had a million and one drummers, a couple of guitarists, but mostly Kurt, Kirst and Dave Grohl. No one else really matters.
